Did you know that you can request your Priesthood Line of Authority?
Well, you can.
The Church has a website that you can go to to request your Line of Authority.
If you have questions, you can call 1-800-453-3860, ext. 2-3500 or send a fax to 1-801-240-6816 or send an email to the link at the bottom of this column.
WHAT IS PRIESTHOOD LINE OF AUTHORITY?
"A Priesthood Line of Authority shows who ordained an individual and who in turn ordained them and so on back to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thousands of ordinances are performed weekly throughout the LDS Church. These ordinances are performed by priesthood holders who have been properly ordained and properly authorized by one who has the keys to authorize the ordinance under the direction of the prophet and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, a priesthood authority line traces a priesthood holder's authority from the person ordaining him back to the Lord Jesus Christ (D&C 42:11)."
